Location: Virtual (Zoom)
Course convenors: Ms Nina Davies and Mr James Welch, Podiatrists and Mr Michail Kokkinakis & Mr Gavin Spence, Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons

This course is suitable for all podiatrists who see children as part of their caseload, paediatric physiotherapists, orthotists, orthopaedic surgeons and paediatricians.

Accredited by the Royal College of Podiatry and in collaboration with Orthopaedic Research UK (ORUK), we will discuss the latest evidence-based core knowledge, including both foot and ankle conditions specific to childhood, as well as the important but less often discussed childhood-specific issues that impact on paediatric foot and ankle consultations. We tackle the controversies, the red flags and the referral criteria, and encourage a common language and understanding between podiatrists and paediatric orthopaedic surgeons (and others), to promote communication and collaboration so we can work together in the best interests of our young patients.

All sessions will be recorded. You will be able to watch these up to 12 weeks post course.
